Location and compass

The app uses your location and compass readings to show the direction and distance to Mount Fuji. It processes those readings on your device. It does not send them to the developer or store a location history. It clears its current readings when it stops its sensor session.

Preferences and deletion

The app stores your distance-unit preference on your device. You can change it in Help and settings. Delete the app to remove its local preference data. You can withdraw location permission in your device's Settings. The app stops sensor updates when it is not active. Apple's operating system provides location services under Apple's own settings and policies.

Data collection

The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. It does not transmit your location, compass readings, or preferences to us.

In-app feedback

You can send a bug report or an idea from Help and settings → Send feedback. The app sends only when you tap Send. It sends the message you type and your choice of bug or idea. If you keep "Include app info" on, it also sends the app version and build, the iOS or iPadOS version, the device model (for example, iPhone16,1), and whether the app came from TestFlight or the App Store. The app shows this information before you send it. Feedback never includes your location, compass readings, name, or email address.

A 305 Labs relay at feedback.305labs.org, hosted by Cloudflare, receives the feedback. It stores the feedback in a private GitHub repository that only the developer can read. The relay uses your IP address only to limit the number of reports each minute. It does not store your IP address. We use feedback only to fix and improve our apps, and we keep it while it is useful for that. Feedback is not linked to you, so we cannot reply to it or find it by email address. Website and email

If you open a privacy or support link, your browser connects to our website, hosted by Cloudflare. Website delivery may process normal request information, such as IP address and browser details. The app does not add sensor readings to these requests. The support pages use no analytics scripts or cookies.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and resolve your request. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed for support and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Email info@305labs.org to request deletion. We do not sell your information or use support messages for advertising.
